Realising
PROSE was commissioned to perform the technical evaluation of the offers for the new DMU's of ISR. All technical aspects of the proposed vehicles have been assessed by a systematic process in accordance with the method of Kepner Tregoe. The evaluation reports was the basis for the contract negotiations and the decision for the purchase by ISR.
Ten units of IC3 had been purchased in a first lot; additional 13 units were added later.

Realising
PROSE engineers performed a detailled study on the general requirements for the new low floor LRV for Helsinki. Based on the results of this study the general requirements for the vehicles could be defined and the detailled technical specification was perpared.

Realising
PROSE engineers developped a stair system, which allowed boarding and alighting either from a high platform down to the relatively low floor of the coach or from a low platforms up to the coach. This system has been combined with a wheel chair lift.
This innovative system had been patented.

PROSE experts analysed the various hypothesis for the accident and assessed them in a systematic process. Based on this expert report the involved parties were then in a position to come up with an compromise in the damage regulation.

It is possible to detect potentially unsafe freight wagons by on-line measuring and comparing the wheel loads on a flat and level track and a twisted track. These wagons can then bee removed from the train and repaired.
PROSE engineers conceived the system and developed and supplied the WWS. Since start of operation of the WWS on the boarder between China and the S.A.R. Hong Kong in the beginning of 1990 no twist derailments of freight wagons have been noticed on the KCRC lines.

PROSE has performed the feasibility study as well as the detail design for the high speed personnell transport system for the coal mine Walsum. In addition PROSE supervised the production and tested the system.

PROSE performed the project management on behalf of SIG for the construction of 69 tunnel construction locomotives for the french side of the channel tunnel.
Additionally a number of subsystems for these locomotives and the pilot cars for the construction trains have been designed by PROSE engineers.

PROSE Ltd. was responsible for the technical project management and the design of the bogies for the most modern flameproof compound locomotive in three-phase AC technology for the coal mine General Blumenthal.
