Measuring Coach

PROSE owns a measuring coach which can be used for all kinds of measurements. It is also especially equipped for slip brake tests which are used to determine the braking distance. The measuring coach contains an independent power generator, a well equipped measuring compartment and a multifunctional compartment.

The coach is one of two RIC coaches of SBB, which were shortened by four compartments for testing the prototype of the coupled single axle running gears for the NSB EMU Class 72 trainsets.
