Measuring Coach

PROSE owns a measuring coach which is mainly focussed on measurements with locomotives. A 1000-l-tank with 10 outlets for an even and regular watering of the wheel/rail-contact (e. g. required for adhesion optimisation) is available, as well as a simple but practical infrastructure with an independent power generator, storing capability, a user-friendly equipped measuring compartment and a multifunctional compartment.

The coach is one of two RIC coaches of SBB, which were shortened by four compartments for testing the prototype of the coupled single axle running gears for the NSB EMU Class 72 trainsets.
