Railroad noise: Rubber against rail noise
Railway operators can breathe a sigh of relief: PROSE and BATEGU have developed a novel elastic Rail Pad between rail and concrete sleeper which promises to solve two old problems: It protects the ballast and reduces noise. This lowers the maintenance costs, extends the maintenance intervals and is easy on the nerves of the people living nearby.
